Yes, our school will be participating in the Go Girls 100km Challenge.
Date: Tuesday October 14, 2025
Venue: Lakeside Stadium Athletics Track, Albert Park
Details:
Gates Open: 7.30am
Expected Arrival Time: 8.00am
Briefing Time: 8.30am
Race Start Time: 9.15am
Race End Time: 2.15pm
End of Event: 3.00pm
Teams
Our school understands we shall be participating with teams comprising of Year 9 and 10 girls.
Each team must have 10 participants and one volunteer extra student per team to lap count.
Schools must send the appropriate number of staff with their students and are responsible for
their supervision at all times. Schools must ensure appropriate permissions and medical forms
are in place for the wellbeing of their students.
Fundraising
Schools participate with the understanding that they are fundraising to support the work of the
Go Girls Foundation. For tips on how to raise funds go to www.gogirlschallenge.org.au
Logistics
Each school is responsible for the safe transport to and from the venue. Teams will be required to
wear their official sports uniform.
Food & Drink
While food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event, staff and students are
encouraged to bring their own provisions. Each student is required to bring their own drink
bottle.
First Aid
While First Aid will be in place, schools are required to bring their own first aid kits.
Photo & Filming
Schools understand that photos, filming and media will take place at the event and these may be

Inclement Weather
In the case of severe weather, the event will be subject to cancellation or rescheduling.
